Weak Wi-Fi Signal? Here’s the Fix!
Tired of unstable Wi-Fi or constant disconnections on your PC or laptop? Here’s a hidden Windows trick that can instantly make your connection more stable and faster—whether you’re at home, work, school, or even in a public hotspot.
How to Enable the Wi-Fi Boost
The process is the same on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Just follow these steps:
Right-click on the Start button.
Select Device Manager.
Expand Network Adapters.
Locate your Wi-Fi adapter (e.g., Intel Wi-Fi 7 – the name may vary).
Double-click it to open Properties.
Go to the Advanced tab.
Find Roaming Aggressiveness.
Change the value from Medium to 5. Highest.
Why This Works
The Roaming Aggressiveness setting controls how quickly your computer switches to a stronger Wi-Fi access point when the signal weakens.
👉 Setting it to Highest ensures your PC connects faster to the best available signal, especially useful in unstable networks or when moving around.
Results
✅ Fewer disconnections
✅ More stable browsing
✅ Faster switching between Wi-Fi access points
Extra Tip
This doesn’t boost Wi-Fi speed directly but optimizes how your laptop chooses the strongest signal.
Still having issues? Update your Wi-Fi drivers from your manufacturer’s website.
